About Us

We are The Ardent Guard (TAG for short). We’re a group of players who have, over the years, created a friendly environment in which to experience World of Warcraft. You’ll find our guild on the Bladefist server.
Our culture
Our culture is one of friendship and teamwork. We respect the privacy and opinions of all players, and we try to keep the vulgar talk to a minimum. We encourage open communication and take seriously our goal to provide a safe and comfortable environment. We have our serious moments, but ultimately we are here to have fun.
TAG’s focus
TAG is focused on its members.
For instance, if you’d like to raid we expect you to speak up so that we can invite you. If you would like to join a party in content beyond you, we expect you to speak up. We will do our best to bring you up to speed so that we can all face the content together. If you’d like to form your own party, we expect you to tell us when you need help to pull that off.
However, if you’re looking for a quiet place to accomplish dailies, or grind that last bit of Bloodsail Buccaneer reputation, we will leave you to it (unless you want some help -- just ask! Those Buccaneers can be pesky).
Ultimately, our focus is on you, and we need your help to provide the best experience possible.
Our activities
Events in TAG range from level 1 questing to raiding end-game content. Any member may schedule an event to accomplish their goals.
Our Council does their best to host events for all members to enjoy. In addition to the usual content (i.e. dungeons, raids, battlegrounds), the Council tries their best to devise creative ways to enjoy Azeroth. Everything from transcontinental rallies to lotteries. No idea is too small or too big - we’ll give it a try.
Our services
TAG provides several resources and services to its members.
First and foremost is our website which includes a calender and a robust sign-up system to help keep events and attendees in order. Forums are open to discuss whatever is on our minds even if it’s about something other than WoW. Ardentwulf has also built a few features into the site that are specific to WoW such as integrated item links to Wowhead.com and statistics pulled directly from the Armory.
A Ventrilo server is available at all times for members of the guild and their guests.
Finally, our bank is used primarily to collect materials for crafting items which are then distributed back to members in need. While one tab, or two, is open at all times, the others are reserved for Item Drives or contests.
Our Council
Last, but not least, our guild is managed by a group of volunteers known as the Council. The members of this council, which include the Guild Master, all posses an equal share in the guild’s operations. All council business is open to members, and feedback is always welcome.
Ultimately, this guild is here to serve our members. Therefore, our members deserve to know how the guild is run and how issues are resolved. If you’ve read this far, we invite you to consider joining our guild. If not, then we hope to see you online.
